YIELD DOT NATURALLY COLOURED FRINGES

Yield, Yield Dot and Yield Melange – handwoven rugs in 100% pure new wool

The Yield Collection consists of three designs; Yield, Yield Dot and Yield Melange. Artisanal in look and texture, each possesses a distinct character. All the rugs are handcrafted from 100% pure new wool and share the same weaving technique, colour scheme, and material.

Constructed using a handwoven basket weave, both the warp and weft are visible. The weft threads are individually interwoven by hand, resulting in charming irregularities. The wool used in the warp includes a blend of different hues, coming from the natural variations of the sheep themselves. These are complemented by a range of natural and dyed shades in the weft. The combination of robust, sturdy woollen fibres and a durable construction ensures the rugs’ longevity.

For rectangular rugs, the short edges can be finished with an option of 3cm-long fringes, or with a two-coloured hand binding that matches the colour of the rug. The selvedges feature a loom binding.
 

The Yield Collection offers a range of options, each with its own distinct charm and character, making them versatile additions to a variety of interior settings. The rugs can also be mixed and matched to create unifying atmospheres in any space.

Yield
Available in eight contrasting colourways, Yield is distinguished by a naturally coloured warp and a singlecoloured weft. Wool White, Grey, Bark, and Dark Brown consist entirely of naturally coloured wool in both the warp and weft. The other colour options, Black, Burnt Sienna, Blue Ash, and Seagrass, incorporate a dyed weft. Yield can be ordered in rectangular as well as round and irregular shapes, with round and irregular shapes featuring the two-coloured binding on all edges.

Yield Melange
Yield Melange features a naturally coloured warp and a two-coloured weft, hand-plied and twisted during the weaving process to create a vibrant all-over mélange surface. Just like Yield, Yield Melange can be ordered in rectangular, round, and irregular shapes, with round and irregular shapes featuring two-coloured binding on all edges.


Yield Dot
Yield Dot adds a unique twist and shares the same twocoloured body construction as Yield but incorporates a third coloured yarn interwoven using the Lancé technique. This distinctive technique results in small, visible dots on the front side of the rug, while longer flotations are observed on the backside. With consistent spacing, the quantity of dots varies depending on the rug’s size. In Yield Dot, all colourways exclusively feature naturally coloured wool in both the warp and weft.
