Sone is a unicoloured upholstery textile featuring a subtle graphic design with intersecting fields of linear textures. It is part of a textile collection with Alle and Tero Outdoor that interprets Ronan Bouroullec’s iconic drawings.
The contrast of the different multidirectional pattern play across Sone’s surface, and which gives a pronounced tactility and depth, with the structure of the pattern emerging from changes in the direction of the lines.
In this way, Sone captures the sense of the textural zones and movement that represents Ronan Bouroullec’s artworks. The expression of the textile takes further inspiration from landscapes, as if looking down on fields from plane flying above.

The colour palette for Sone unites a scale of bright hues with notes of vibrant green and yellow to the softer brick- tones. These are characterised in Ronan Bouroullec’s celebrated drawings and coordinated with the other textiles in the collection.

ALLE
Ronan Bouroullec
Alle is a soft woollen unicoloured upholstery featuring a organic line pattern. It is part of a textile collection together with Sone and Tero Outdoor, exploring interpretations of Ronan Bouroullec’s intuitive artworks.
The textile’s pattern features voluminous yarns in different weights, which flow across and seemingly dissolve into
its surface. These tactile, three-dimensional forms capture a sense of the rich strokes that characterise Ronan Bouroullec’s drawings and illuminate a vibrant interplay between matt and lustre.
Ronan Bouroullec: “Alle offers an atmospheric translation of the pen strokes and colours that comprise my artworks. Through the prism of rich materiality, it expresses the therapeutic back-and-forth movements I make when drawing.”
The colour palette for Alle comprises a scale of mainly cool, neutral and brick-coloured notes. The contrast in relief between the flat base and the raised ‘brushstrokes’ reveals different sides to these elegant shades.

TERO OUTDOOR
Ronan Bouroullec
Tero Outdoor by Ronan Bouroullec is a subtly graphic upholstery for outdoor environments. Richly structured, it is part of a three-textile collection inspired by the designer’s artworks.
Tactile jacquard woven lines crisscross Tero Outdoor’s surface at various angles, creating an abstract, three- dimensional pattern. The expression of the textile takes further inspiration from landscapes, as if looking down on fields from plane flying above.
Tero Outdoor interprets Ronan Bouroullec’s iconic drawings. Like Sone and Alle, the other designs in the collection, it translated the fluid strokes, nuances and colour transparencies that characterise his celebrated artworks.

Tero Outdoor is constructed from post-consumer recycled polyester. It features an environmentally-focused, fluorocarbon-free construction. It provides resistance against chlorine, seawater and artificial weathering and
is flame-retardant. In addition to its technical features, it also stands out for a soft touch compared to other outdoor fabrics.
The colour scale for Tero Outdoor comprises a scale of cool translucent nuances due to that the textile is woven with three coloured yarns. These shades combine to subtly illuminate details in the relief of the pattern, adding extra dimensions of depth to the textile.
Tero Outdoor is suitable for a wide range of residential
and commercial applications. Due to its understated sophistication, it is particularly well-suited to aesthetically driven hospitality environments.

Ronan Bouroullec
Ronan Bouroullec is a globally acclaimed talent and long-term collaborator with Kvadrat. Trained in contemporary art and design, he creates works that span from craftsmanship to mass production via permanent public space installations worldwide.
Since 1999, Ronan Bouroullec has worked with a roster of leading design brands from his studio in Paris. Drawing,
a regular activity since childhood, also plays a central part in his life. His designs, some of which he co-creates with his brother Erwan Bouroullec, and intuitive drawings play a role in prestigious international institutions and galleries.
