In February 2026, ECHO, a new exhibition platform where design companies and designers present their latest work to journalists, architects, and a design-interested public, takes place on the island of Skeppsholmen, in central Stockholm.ECHO is a new physical meeting place for the design industry, created to foster encounters and business opportunities.
The first exhibition will take place on 3–6 February 2026, followed by a second edition in Copenhagen on 10–12 June 2026.
“ECHO is a passion project and a manifestation of Stockholm as a design city and Sweden as a design nation to be reckoned with. When the opportunity arose to showcase the best in design in a historically rooted setting—next to both ArkDes and Moderna Museet and with an outstanding view of the Saltsjön and the city of Stockholm—the decision was easy,” says Karin Sköldberg, initiator of the exhibition.
ECHO’s new exhibition venue is located in a former cannon workshop at Slupskjulsvägen 20–22 on Skeppsholmen. In addition to approximately 400 square meters of exhibition space, ECHO also offers a meeting point where visitors can attend ECHO Talks curated by the international magazine The New Era Magazine, as well as architecture and press breakfasts, cocktails, and various evening events.
ECHO has signed international star chef Mathias Dahlgren as catering partner, and Scandinavia’s leading lifestyle and design PR agency, Trendgruppen PR, is PR partner responsible for inviting international journalists to Stockholm and handling press events for Swedish Media.
Exhibitors include Bemz, DUX, JOY Objects/Fredrik Paulsen, Kähler, Ogeborg, Staffan Holm Studio, Anki Gneib, Mia Cullin, and Solid Space Studio. Exhibitors are continuously presented on Instagram @echo.exhibition and the website echoexhibition.se.

Background ECHO The exhibition was originally intended as a complement to Stockholm Furniture Fair, to strengthen Stockholm as a design destination and Sweden as a design country. This ambition remains even after the announcement that Stockholm Furniture Fair has been postponed until 2027.
