“Rich in detail, the Gry vases are elegant sculptures that elevates the flowers and water placed inside and plays with the daylight in its structured surface and color.
The candleholder takes the light from the wick lit inside and turns it into a beautiful pattern projected onto the surface on which it stands.
The inspiration for the shape comes from the trunk of trees. Starting from the ground you can see the beginning of the roots before turning more round in shape further up”

Gry, meaning dawn in Danish, has different word associations, as it is also a play on the word “gro” which means “to grow”. Gry collection is handmade and comes in the colours; clear, smoke and conjac.

”We are fascinated by geometry, system and symmetry, but it is easier to get a tenderness for soft curves and lines. It became the backdrop for this shapely and lush series. Not created in a drawing program, but first by hand in wood with simple tools.”

Frodig means sensual and fruitful in Norwegian.
Frodig comes in the colours; Sand, Black and Hazelnut.
Tulipa Vase

“We wanted to make a vase with an organic shape perfect for Tulips, but also for many other flowers. The folds creates a dynamic and deep shadow play and also gives the piece character.” -Catrine Åberg, Creative Director at Cooee.
Tulipa vases comes in two heights and in the colours: Sand, Linnen and Hazelnut.

The collaboration between Cooee Design continues with artist Kristiina Engelin. The theme this season is inspired by the ocean and the life under the water.
