The Aurora presents 68 cars in this year’s dual concours, with an even balance between classic cars and hypercars. Several of the cars will be shown in Scandinavia for the first time. In record time, The Aurora has established itself as an international lifestyle event attracting guests from around the world.
Taking place 26–28 June at Norrviken Gardens in Båstad, the event offers visitors a modern interpretation of the traditional concours format – a curated automotive beauty competition. In the harbor, which is open to the public, exclusive yachts will be on display.
A holistic experience that distinguishes The Aurora
What distinguishes The Aurora from other international automotive events is its holistic concept, with the concours at its core. This year marks the next step in the event’s evolution with the introduction of its dual concours format, where classic cars and modern hypercars are judged in two separate competitions.
Cars are evaluated based on design, history, condition, and authenticity in this prestigious beauty competition.
“By separating the car categories, we give each type of vehicle the right context. This enhances the quality of the judging and creates a more relevant experience for both collectors and visitors,” says Filip Larsson, CEO of The Aurora.

Highlights 2026
Confirmed highlights include:
• Pagani Utopia – a hypercar focused on an analogue driving experience, powered by a V12 engine without electrification
• A unique collection of Koenigsegg models spanning the company’s 30-year history
• Nissan Skyline R32 GT-R Group A ‘BP Trampio’ – an icon of Japanese motorsport
• Mercedes-Benz 500K – a pre-war masterpiece
• Nardone 928 – a celebrated Restomod and modern interpretation of the Porsche 928
Beyond the concours, visitors can enjoy experiences such as The Aurora Symphony, The Aurora Talks, and an expanded lifestyle area. The Showfield and Special Cars Exhibition complete the programme, bringing together around 400 cars.
The Aurora attracts both seasoned collectors and a new, younger audience. The scenic setting of Norrviken Gardens adds a unique backdrop to the event.

Strong international interest and growing partnerships
The international impact is clear. In 2025, the event attracted visitors from more than 35 countries, while participating cars were transported from the United States, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, Brazil, and Australia, among others. The Aurora has therefore evolved into a destination, rather than simply an exhibition.
Ahead of 2026, the expansion continues with several new exhibitors. Ferrari is carrying out its largest activation ever in the Nordics, while main partners J.P. Morgan Private Bank and BMW enter their third year as partners.
An event in constant evolution
With its unique format, strong international network, and clear vision, The Aurora continues to evolve as a modern meeting place for automotive culture.
“We never wanted to create just another concours. The goal was to do something new: an event that feels relevant today and continues to surprise. When an experienced visitor early on described The Aurora as ‘refreshingly new,’ it confirmed that we were on the right track,” says Filip Larsson.
The Aurora 2026 takes place 26–28 June at Norrviken Gardens in Båstad.
