At Habitare 2026, Tarkett presents a material library where flooring design, materiality and the impact of materials on the human senses take centre stage. At Tarkett’s stand visitors are invited to explore different materials and create personal mood boards based on their individual needs and preferences.
The stand is designed as a warm and welcoming space, featuring a shared long table, seating benches and a wide selection of material samples. Here, visitors can touch, compare and combine different flooring options, and also bring a selection of samples home. The material library demonstrates how flooring not only shapes the visual expression of a space but can also influence the experience of it and contribute to a sense of calm and well-being.
The entire stand is built using iD Naturals Royal Oak Oiled Natural from Tarketts new collection, which will be launched this autumn. The durable, easy-to-maintain vinyl flooring in wood and stone designs adds a natural feel to the warm and welcoming environment.

Tarkett is also participating as a partner of the new Habitare Build Lab, a 375-square-metre environment created by Finnish interior designer, stylist and interior editor Laura Seppänen. Here, Tarkett’s flooring is presented in fully realised interior settings, with a focus on design, considered material choices and circular solutions. The floors are an integral part of the overall environment, demonstrating how thoughtful material choices can shape the look and feel of a space.
Build Lab features iQ Eminent in the consultation area and on the stage, DESSO AirMaster Sphere textile flooring in the atrium, and Originale linoleum flooring throughout the remaining areas. Together, Tarkett’s stand and Build Lab demonstrate how flooring can contribute to a harmonious and balanced environment, where materials and colours interact with the function of the space and can help create a sense of calm and tranquillity.

Welcome to explore Tarkett’s material library and discover how flooring design and materiality can influence the experience of an environment at Habitare 2026.
